Dvinity 2 is much better than Risen and DAO together.
Both games are so brilliant just get both as soon as you can!
I mean, I know we will get the mostly action Mass Effect and Borderlands type RPG's until the sun don't shine, but in any given 5 year period we are lucky if we get a dozen deep old school RPG's like Dragon Age and Risen!
I mean count 'em: Oblivion, The Divinity games (maybe), Gothic 2 and 3, Two Worlds, Drakensang, Neverwinter Nights 2 and Fallout 3. I make that 11 titles. Now even if I have forgotten a couple, how many shooters and mostly action games have we had in the same timescale? 200? 500?
So when you see any old school RPG, isometric like Baldur's Gate or 3D like Morrowind, snap it up, because there are likely to be fewer in the future than in the past! Even action-RPG's like Mass Effect and Bioshock, have follow-up's that the publishers say will have MORE action!
And seriously, if you have been playing RPG's for more than 10 years, did you ever think you'd see comments like you do about Borderlands being an RPG? Or just because Fallout 3 uses laser guns and not swords, it must be an RPG-Shooter - like Borderlands! This, to me, is downright scary - as is Obsidian describing it's 'Alpha Protocol' due 1st quarter next year, as a '25 hour RPG'! Isn't that an oxymoron?!
So everytime you see something half decent in the hardcore old school RPG genre, snap it up, even at full price, because that's the only way we are going to have this genre in a couple years!

Arkose: Note that the EA Download Manager service has a limit on how long you can download titles (I think it's something like six months); downloading it beyond that requires an additional fee which only extends it and does not make it permanent. If you are content to make your own backup of the installer that's not a problem. image

WBGhiro: It's a year and they've since discontinued the extended service. I'd find the link but my internet sucks balls and I'm in a bad mood. :)

Make a back up. No problem.
