I found this game two days ago, via a link from Slay Radio. It's a high speed MMO RTS, if you can imagine such a thing. The playing field is laid out as an infinite field filled with hexagonal bases with a bit of land inbetween. Each base has three immediate neighbours. Each player starts with a single locked and shielded base, and has a brief period to build his base and some troops. After that, all bases are unlocked and all shields are removed, and it's a free-for-all. The object of the game is to take over enemy bases and make them your own. A standard match lasts 10 minutes. There's a buddy system so you can arrange matches with your friends. And best of all, it's free :-)
Well, you can buy upgrades with the in-game currency. This can be either bought with real money or earned simply by playing the game. I haven't really looked at the upgrades yet, I'm just having a blast with the basics.
Check it out if you like. It's pretty fun, if you like that sort of thing.
So, I take it that's a "no" then? ;-)
Oh well, I just thought I'd share. I think it's pretty entertaining, in a casual sort of way.
Well it looks interesting enough, I'm just not sure if I can squeeze another MMO strategy game to my Dawn of War carnage :D
