So I didn't see a thread mentioning this and the news hit a couple of major geek outlets earlier this week.
They picked... Duncan Jones.
If you're saying, "who da fuck?" He's the director of Source Code and The Moon. Now you're saying, "Those are good flicks!" I totally agree but...
He seems to make very cerebral, character driven flicks that don't appeal to a wide audience. Isn't that exactly the opposite of what they need in the director of a WOW Movie/ I mean supposing they don't want it to be a totally ham-fisted flop.
