Gundato: *cough* Serial is DRM :p *cough*

That is debatable, and you know it. But if you want to nitpick, I meant it has no "phoning home" or any other kind of external control on how and where you install and play the game. Once you have the installer and the serial (which comes in an email), back them up and you're done.
Thanks - no idea this had gone public beta. Pre-ordered.
Liked the DoP demo but was never that attracted to the concept - this seems much more my type of hack-and-slash, and I love the sound of the dynamic world. Nice to see for fellow netbook owners that it supports 1024x600 resolution,
I'll pass on this for now, until the full thing is released.
Just wondering though, if anyone here would mind doing a beta-review so I can see if it's my sort of thing?
The demo is pretty lengthy and very exciting. i love the visual style, the speedy gameplay, the arcade-like "scoring" system and tweaks to the standard chase 'n chop formula. Finding hidden areas is always a nice surprise (especially when you get some cool stuff) and the stuff borrowed from other genres (killing X monsters in X seconds for a big bonus) keeps the experience nice and fresh. Peeler and his small team are supremely talented folks - I hope the game gets more attention that DoP did.
I preordered this the first possible day. DoP was fantastic.
