PC demo has been released today and you can download it from the link below.

I tried the demo and not like it. Game is looking so empty like low budget titles, graphics are bad and flying controls are so bad (or I need to try gamepad or joystick?). And mos important thing game is not funny. Anyway I was hoping this game will be great but after playing the demo I am glad I didn't preorder it. I can't belive Kim Swift left Valve and joined the developers (Airtight Games) of this game. :S
First reviews also not good.

Honestly I never understood why this game got so much hype in the first place.
It looks nifty and I plan to play the demo. But I recall seeing a demo of this way back during the E3 before Dawn of War 2 and Far Cry 2. Even the devs had trouble controlling the jetpack. That just stuck with me, for some reason.

Yeah the xbox demo was released everywhere but australia (for no reason) last week and there were a lot of comments that basically makes me think the reason we didn't get it was that they were doing us a favour
Hehe, a friend of mine said that it was going to be the most fuckingest awesome game of the year. Now he's going to say he knew it was going to suck all along.
Just got done playing the demo. Quit what I assume was halfway through, but whatever
Pros:
Chase sequences through valleys and ravines would be VERY fun
Exploring an open-world like this could be fun
Cons:
You can rotate, but doing so only serves to disorient you, especially because your model isn't affected by orientation. So if you are flying with your belly on the ground, your legs are above your head (like you are sky diving). If you are flying toward the ground: Your legs are above your head. IF you are flying upside down: your legs are above your head. So no "artificial horizon" as it were.
Taking a UFO just isn't worth it. The minigame to take it is tedious, and you can be one-shot killed in the process.
You WILL be tempted to use your jetpack, even if only to fly out of an enemy base and into the open sky. Unfortunately, you will slam into a wall or two and die instantly.
Close Quarters Combat just feels far too loose. You can't really do snap shots, so if you are anywhere near an enemy, you are better off using melee.
All in all, I might grab it for 10 or 15 bucks. But I don't see this selling well.
What a waste of Bear McCreary. :(
It always looked average. But then any game that tries to be ambitious within the limitations of the 360 is not going to fare too well. It's certainly not going to look too good, that's for sure.

I agree completely.

I saw a commercial, really didn't care for that alone but reading reviews just reassures me to stay away.
Poor, poor Capcom. They try to enter the Western market several times, but keep getting studios that suck to make games for them. Dead Rising 2 better be good, or else they may retreat into Japanese games forever.

they should make a second crysis that no one can play because the system requirements are too high.

They have that. It's called Shattered Horizon. :P
Why the hell does review, that gives 50%, states that the game doesn't even deserve to exist? I really thought 50% = medicore game that is still fun to play. When the heck did rating system shift from 0-100% to 50-100?
