Welcome to the year 2009! It's Saturday, roughly 6 a.m. EDT and that means two of our users, who found some time to write up a review (despite the Holiday spirit telling them otherwise;)) are going to find a free game code in their mailbox. Today's lucky winners are billabongbronco and Shuffla. Keep in mind that in a week's time we'll draw two more winners from among the guys and gals who wrote up a review for The Feeble Files and Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror. You can find information about the rules in the comments section here.
Here are the rules of the contest:
1) You must have the game(s) present on your account to participate.
2) If you have multiple new releases on your account, you can increase
your chances and write reviews for all of them.
3) Only the review(s) of this week's new releases will be able to
participate in the contest.
4) The review(s) must meet the extremely high standards of GOG.com. ;)
5) The review(s) must not be a copy of a review from a different
website.
6) One winning review per game will be drawn from all applicable
reviews written before Saturday 6:00 a.m. EDT.
"Amazing game even bigger and better than the first and with the ability to possess your own fart and fly it around LOL classic fun and loads of laughs."
Wat.
That's helpful all right
Just out of curiosity: How is the "Most Helpful Review" tag generated, and how often is it updated? I've seen it for games when other reviews are marked as "Was this review helpful to you? *YES*NO* (n users agree with this review)" with a higher 'n' value.
I know (Or at least I'm guessing!) there is more to it than votes:) But can't find the details anywhere.
awesome thank you gog.com
I got a bit excited about the prospect of winning as I wrote the second review for BS2, but then seeing the rules I need to have bought the game from GOG. Shame because I don't really need a third copy... (I already have the original + SoldOut)
