... teasing a "big reveal" at the VGAs, getting everyone's hopes sky-high, and then revealing a sequel to a sh*tty Star Wars game??? (and no, Masters of Teras Kasi doesn't count)
Yeah, you can most certainly do much better by your fans, LucasArts.
BJ
The best thing they can do nowadays is rerelease/remake their games from the glory days.
Oh and a sequel to Republic Commando.

Amen to Republic Commando 2
Or Jedi Academy 2....=)
I'm exaggerating a bit but when was the last time LucasArts made anything other than a Star Wars game? I suppose Lucidity and Monkey Island Special Edition but yeah... I'm just hoping they redo Monkey Island 2 with the voice acting crew but forgo the awkward artwork they used when remaking the first.

Heck i'd buy the game veen if they rereleased the very same game (compatible with modern systems of course)
I wish they would do a proper knights of the old republic 3 which ties up the first 2 games .

They are, for $14.99 a month and with a party of at least 2 other people at level 69, however, the level cap will be set at 50 but you can increase it with the purchase of the "Sith Empires" expansion pack for $49.99 and the "Darth Revans Mask" quest item which can be yours for $4.99, exclusively from the EA Store!
And just for kicks, players will be required to pay a seperate subscription fee for the expansion.
I doubt if LucasArts have many of the innovative developers still employed from the golden era for which we love them.
Seriously, Star Wars is the biggest IP evah; to think they're not going to keep churning out Star Wars titles for all eternity is a misnomer. If they're not doing that, they'll be re-remaking their old Star Wars or their classic games.
Yawn.

Jedi Academy was mediocre compared to it's predecessors. I won't say the storylines in JK1 and 2 are jaw-dropping, but the narration was great. Here's to hoping that someday, maybe someday, Lucasarts will finally decide to do a true sequel to Jedi Outcast.

+1
Of all the Star Wars games deserving a sequel I certainly wouldn't have picked The Force Unleashed. :( I guess we can look forward to a third game too (since trilogies are seemingly mandatory these days).
Maybe this time LucasArts will manage to get the PC release out on time rather than delaying it due to pira--er, "optimisation".
You forget that Force Unleashed was their best ever selling game. Of course they going to make a sequel for it. I admit though it sucks that they announced it like this as they could have and done something original (ARMED AND DANGEROUS 2).
I was expectin new game in Jedi Knight series. Huge disapointment for me too. But I hope they will release this game for PC at the same time with consoles.
Come on Lucasarts? Eww they'll be all sticky
TFU was a reasonably good game for what it aimed to be. I'll be interested in seeing a sequel if for no reason other than to see how you're playing the same character.
That said, a new Xwing/TIE game would have been what I was vainly hoping for
