Perhaps many members of the GoG community already know about this, but my searches in the forum turned up nothing so I thought I'd mention it.

GameStow (http://www.gamestow.com/) is a cloud storage system (similar to Steam Cloud) for games, and supports many, many of the games that can be found on GoG.com, as well as many others.

It's free, for up to 15 games to be synced (up to 1GB of total data is allowed).

Basically, you run the client, it searches your computer (or you may manually add games to the list) for installed games, then you enable the ones you wish to be synced. It automatically syncs savegames, can be used on multiple computers or just for backup purposes.

Hope someone else finds this as useful as I do, it's something I've been trying to find for some time now.

(Just to point out, I'm not affiliated in any way, I just thought this would be useful for some of the people here on GoG)
Oh this looks like it could be helpful, I currently store my saves on DropBox, but this might be easier. +1 and thank you for posting this.

I also used to use Dropbox.

I even wrote a small program for myself that managed a list of directories, automatically copying to my Dropbox folder when the savegame was updated. It would have worked quite well if I had a good enough internet connection for Dropbox to keep up.

Fortunately, this service means I don't have to use my hacky method anymore for most games :D
Sounds cool! I've been using Google Drive. But this seems easier lol
I certainly like the idea, but yet another client? Damn, you must have a lot of icons on your task bar!
This sounds like something I'll use, I'll bookmark it for later.
thanks for the link

Yeah, my taskbar is pretty crowded :P
I sometimes backup my saves with GameSave-Manager. It's rather useful, as so far it managed to find every single one of my savegames, and puts them in Dropbox. This can use every bit of space you have there, and you can upload as many saves as you want, so in my opinion, it seems more useful than Gamestow.
The application found more games and a lot faster than GameSaveManager so a plus for that. The syncing is rather quick but I can see it becoming a small issue if you've a lot of save files and if they're large on top of that.

I just added Unepic as a supported game but I've it installed in a custom file location so it didn't find it. Not a problem because I just added an unsupported but now I can't delete the supported game function so it takes up a slot while I've no files uploaded to the cloud.

Seems a bit limiting, and you'll be having trouble with games such as The Witcher 2 which managed to get the saves folder up to 2-3 GB the last time I played it.

General purpose cloud storage (for example, SkyDrive or something similar), using simple 7zip or zip archives would be better, I think.
If it has GOG's name on it.. it must be somewhat decent, right?

Why would you keep so many? There's no way a few save files would reach up to that kind of size.

Because I had no idea that TW2's files can be so big, so had no reason to remove them... until I deleted the game after completing it and noticed how huge that folder was.

Thank you so much for this! I know myself and other GOG and Steam users will happily use this.
