Not trying to annoy anyone, but I'm computer illiterate. I still own my hard copy of Civ 2. Is there any way possible to get it to play on my current OS? If it's impossible, just let me know!
Do you know if it is the DOS or Windows version? I believe there were two releases.
I have the windows version. All I had to do was copy the game folder off the disc onto the pc and it plays for me.
Bad Joke Alert

Isn't being from Oklahoma and calling yourself illiterate a redundancy?

TBH, you're better off with FreeCiv at this point or Alpha Centauri.
Best head over to forums specifically built around said game series.

If you have old copies of Windows 98 or maybe even XP lying around, give VirtualBox a try.
Thank you guys! Lots of ideas to go off of, I'll let you know how it goes.

And it's definitely NOT the DOS version.
