Will there be any Christmas Gift Codes that people can purchase any time soon?
You can refer to this thread for greater detail.

Thanks
Any hope of seeing these in time for Christmas?

Faithful: Any hope of seeing these in time for Christmas?

Faithful, as Oldski already said, this feature is planned. Adding an option to gift games before holidays would be very cool and I know that many GOG.com Users (including me :) would love it.
Now, currently the team is working on lots of stuff - both new games and website features, lots of stuff is going on :). So while I cannot give you a straight yes/no answer, I can say that we'll do our best!

It's always hard to predict the overall benefit of an action, but this seems like a no-brainer. I've got a gamer brother-in-law that I'd love to give a hefty GOG gift certificate to. I'm probably not alone. Since this is a commercial venture, anything that brings in more revenue is desirable, I think. Given the current world economic conditions, I would think that the bang for the buck offered by GOG would be an exceptionally compelling deal. One crappy new DRM-ridden game for $60 or $60 of GOG credit worth months of fun.
No. Brainer.
Just sayin'
Edit: Hooking up with somebody like Amazon would absolutely rock. Most of the holiday gifting for my extended family happens via them. I can only imagine what kind of sales boost GOG would experience if one could offer GOG games via Amazon.
However it is done, you must do it.
Seriously. Kaching.

yes, gift codes please. i found this thread searching for some way to gift a game to my brother, and just assumed i was missing where to do it somehow... i cant believe gifting isnt already supported...
it sort of is supported, you login with your credit card details and then give the other person the account after buying a game for them XD hurr hurr hurr
