Welcome adventurers!
We have prepared a puzzle that will bring you fame, glory and maybe a free game from GOG.com's catalogue :). Attached to this post you'll find a word search puzzle, where we have hidden 40 words concerning Broken Sword games. The task is simple - find as many words from our list by Monday, April 6 at 11:59 p.m. and send us the words via email to users@gog.com
Three users who will get the most words from our list will be awarded with a free game. In case there will be more than three entries with the same amount of correct answers, we'll use our fail-safe drawing machine. The winners will be announced in this thread.

Weclock: do I automatically lose if I send you the dictionary?

Only if it contains more than 40 words.

BUT!
it is possible to see more than one word, where only one word was intended.

Then you'd better make sure none of them can be misinterpreted.
Found "19", and that's the best I can do. 19 in quotes because several I'm unsure on!
Good luck to the rest of you.

I'm pretty sure you can submit more than 40 words; they're just looking at whether or not the words you've got match up with the ones on their list.

So, submit a random list of 2000 words, there's a (small) chance the 40 from the puzzle are among them. If they are, there's a chance of winning, right? (Some of the words I doubt are in a dictionary, but you never know, perhaps someone'll make a list of every word in a load of articles about the Broken Sword series, remove duplicates and presto! Good chance of getting at least the majority of the words, along with many more unrelated ones that may or may not be present in the puzzle.)

I'm really looking forward to the result of this one being announced - I think I did fairly well! I'm about to start spamming the F5 key since we're 5 minutes away from closing time! :P

Um, no? 1 minute before midnight is closing time, and we don't know which timezone it's in (sure could be GMT+12, in which case you'd be about right, but I doubt it).

Lol, misread the original post - I'm used to the 24 hour clock!

We're closing the contest at 11:59 p.m. Easter Daylight Time, so it will be 4:59 a.m. UK time. The winners and the full list of words will be announced on Tuesday, sometime near noon. Sorry, but 5 a.m. is a little bit too early for us to post anything :)
Phew, just finished, I hope I do okay. I managed to get 37 words, but all are defiantly Broken Sword related. Then again, listing inventory items was an act of desperation :(
Finally, we have the winners of the word search contest!
The three users that found and sent us the most words from our list are: Szymon, rcorp and Thexder. Each winner will receive a bonus code for a free game of their choice from our catalog.
Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who participated in this contest. We hope you've enjoyed it?
