Well they shut down a bunch of manufacturers already..
I hope next generation companies smarten up and support homebrew..gamers clearly want it..it'd bring a whole new world to gaming that PC gamers have been enjoying forever..I don't know if it's just a matter of offering it but without a means to piracy or not..hm.

Yes, not supporting it just seems like such a tremendous waste of hardware. This is why I much prefer open handhelds such as the GP2X.
