michaelleung: I find casual games more of pick-up-and-put-down than FPSes, but that's just me.
(Casual = PopCap)

I'm sort of in the opposite camp, most of the FPS' I've seen of late have been very much the pick up & put down type. About the only FPS in the last year or 3 (that I've played, I know I've missed several) that was more than that was BIA Hells Highway, partly for the quasi RTS elements and for the story.
I'm a major story junkie though, its the primary reason I play games. As long as the story is strong, I can tolerate things like bugs or comparatively dull gameplay, hell I finished the newest Prince Of Persia...
I can't get this demo to work.

What are your system specs? Apparently it needs a pretty good video card. My lappy ran it in slowmo all the time

It won't even start up. I get an error and it shuts down as soon as I click it.

That second one worked. Thanks.
I beat this game already on console and all I can say is it is the best puzzle game I have played in recent memory. These puzzles are truely unique. I have played alot of puzzle games in my day and this definately ranks up there with the best. It takes awhile to think of the solutions and get a handle on the later portions of the game, because they are so different. 10/10 even if I still don't completely get the entirety of the story, but I get the idea.
Braid is a piece of artwork you play.
The music and the feelings you get from the game are beautiful and serene, you cannot buy something like that for cheap.
$15 dollars is worth it, I bought it on Xbox 360 and played it 3 times, it is quite masterful.
I finally bit the bullet and bought this yesterday...wow. Every set of 'worlds' completely alters the time mechanics of the game. Just a lot of fun to play.
You guys may want to check out A Lesson is Learned but the Damage is Irreversible -- same illustrator, I just found out today. My favourite webcomic...:)

I don't know about you but the one I had the most trouble with was the one where your movements dictated the flow of time & when you had to backtrack to the left, everything you did started to reverse

That's the world that made me not want to purchase the game. Neat idea, sure. But so very annoying. And even when I managed to solve that version of Hunt! I didn't think, cool. I just thought, thank **** for that. Not good.
Yeah I must agree there, the hunt in that world gave me the same feeling at the end
I've just beaten the game and I've no words. Play it.

Yeah, that one definitely took some getting used to!
