Hi
does anyone else remember this great game from the late 90s? Is there any hope ever of it arriving here?
Yes, I remember it. It was an awesome game.
I own it but haven't played it yet. I may buy it again, if it arrives here, since my version is the CD one and also German, I think.

Still have my copy that came with a Sci Fi games pack I bought in the mid 90's :) - would be great if it came to GoG
Blade Runner is really an underrated classic. Brilliant game with branching story lines and great setting. Looked great the time and it still looks great! It's an EA game though, I believe, and they're not exactly known for digging up old games.
I have a copy I got from eBay along with most of my ancient, ancient games, but I've never been able to get it to run on my system. :(
Well, there's a fair chance that EA will wind up here sometime soon. If for no other reason than using it as a means of trouncing Activision's presence here. But the whole Blade Runner license might pose a problem. I don't know if they've still got the right to sell it.
Yeah, really atmospheric game. I never completed it, but I still have the discs in a box somewhere.
Although, for some reason I remember it as a bit buggy in areas. I think that's why I never completed it.

I still have my original copy of this. I loved it. I've always wondered why it wasn't more popular with fans of it's genre.
I seem to remember it being a pain to get working on 64bit OS's (think it had a 16bit installer, etc.) which is another good reason for a re-release.
I picked up Blade Runner for 29 SEK (about 4 US$) maybe five or six years back at a local warehouse chain. I guess they were trying to get rid of the entire stock: there was an entire table of Blade Runner boxes there.
I'd read a lot of good about it, although I didn't feel it had aged all that gracefully. Some of the features didn't seem to work properly with XP (I think that's what I had back then? When did Pokémon Ruby come out?), sound was way too low and there was a lot of pixel hunting involved. I gave up in act 3, when it became clear the action sequences could no longer be avoided.
Of course, this was ages ago. Maybe I should give it another shot? I've got the CDs lying around somewhere.
It's so awesome to know that everyone here played Snatcher! I though I was the only one with a Sega CD.
Thanks for reminding me to vote for this on the gog wishlist feature. :)
yup, bought it not too long ago, it's good but if you press the wrong key at the wrong time, you'll skip valuable information.. it kind of put me off.
I bought it back in the day, enjoyed the first part of it then stopped playing - never finished it - would be a good addition to GOG
Wasn't there some game killing problem with it? One of those 'if you don't pick up the key at the start you can't unlock the door at the end' kind of issues?
