I am still waiting to hear who the big publisher GOG managed to get on board happened to be. They seem a little quite after announcing they were in the later end of discussions. I really do hope there are no major issues with the games.
LucasArts games
Take-Two games
Microsoft games
Zenimax games
Remaining Sierra/Activision games
Remaining EA games

and probably many more. But in due time hopefully we'll see most of these desired titles reach the site.
Apart from all the obvious choices listed above, I noticed that although they are here as a publisher already and know that the GOG way works, EA still seem very reluctant to release their big hits on GOG, if they even plan to bring them here at all. Mass Effect, for example is 6 years old already and still not available DRM-free. I don't have high hopes that this will change in the near future, when they're so fond of their own DRM platform Origin. :/

I recall there are some scripting bugs etc. outside of Windows 9x, making the game unplayable on Windows XP and later.

But then, never say never...

jjsimp: The original Starcraft I wouldn't mind having. What kind of hoops do you have to jump through to get it from Blizzard? Is it an .exe or do you have to be online to install the game? I don't mind signing up to whatever their client is, as long as I can uninstall the client after downloading my game.
Log in to battle.net -> buy the game -> download the game -> install the game -> play!

The only DRM is a cdkey, not a big trouble.
I agree the Gold Box SSI games are sorely missed considering all the classic RPGs that are available. I'd love to see the X-Wing and Tie Fighter games as well if an agreement could be reached.
