But i agree with you, that starting sequence with Yeesha is very nice. And Tomahna is a beautiful place...

Couldn't agree more.

Vagrant Story, imo. No game even comes close. It's got graphic novel styling, partly interactive sequences, badass dialogue, and sets the scene and tone perfectly.
Actually, it has FOUR intros, I guess... an opening FMV, then an in-engine one if you let the title screen sit too long, then another in engine one if you let it sit long enough yet again, then the "intro" to the game proper when you actually start the game. The third one is merely made of excerpts from the 4th one.

I like all the intros of the DoW games up to soulstorm really.
Sould storm was a big let down, cant wait till the Fire storm Over Kronus team getts its magic hands on it.
