lukaszthegreat: I have never seen it but
Bob makes a perfect name for villain. It is not fancy, unique, it doesn't have bigger meaning.. It is the simplicity of that name what makes it so sinister.
that is just me though.
Tremble wretched, puny humans, kneel before he who is all powerful, he who is all knowing, he who is the avatar of malevolence, the very embodiment of evil.... BOB!
Kinda lacks something. A polysyllabic sound for a start. Even with a voice like Gabriel Woolf, Christopher Lee or Valentine Dyall that couldn't sound too intimidating.
Reminds me of a
Lewis Black reference about the hurricane. "Bob is not a Hurricane, Bob is an insurance salesman, from Topeka, Kansas."
Luned: The evil demon Gaxx Unfufadoo (appeared in a tongue-in-cheek fantasy series by Craig Shaw Gardner)
He wrote the Cineverse Cycle didn't he? I seem to recall those were fairly amusing
