I've seen Battleforge ads bandied about the Internets, and it looks to me like a nice RTS based on trading cards. This is something I haven't seen a lot of, since the last strategy card-based game I've been following is The Eye of Judgment, and it sucked. Anyone got it already, care to share some experiences? I really want to try it out but I'm not sure if I'll get my money's worth, or should I just hold off for a better RTS.

Wow, I have it here. We actually have a game on Steam that isn't one of Valve's!

Its a novel idea they have with the cards spawning your troops but I personally didn't enjoy it. They also seem to have bosses on some of the levels that require mmo raider like precision of your troops to take down.
Your best bet would be to get the demo from their site and try it yourself.

Hmm yeah, I'm downloading the demo as I type, but I'd like to hear from people who play it. As you know, demos aren't always the best representation of games.

First boss was the thing that completely turned me off this game. And the rest of the demo didn't advertise a game that would be worth the money to me anyway.

Yea thats when I decided the game wasn't for me either. You can either micro manage like mad to try and take it down the first go or you spend the next 20 minutes throwing men at it and casting your spells.

EA is not selling their games in UK on Steam. One of the Bioware employee said that it will be soon.
