captfitz: i think the gameplay of the two games is different enough that you can't just write one off, it more comes down to personal preference
battlefield heroes isn't chock full of strategy, but it's still quite a bit slower than ql and it has objectives other than 'kill people.' i happen to like it better.

I compared them because each one is free mp game and I played them both. I didn't like BF: H because of the gameplay. FPS would be better than TPS in BF: H I think. Also maps are so small and game mechanics are not quite well. I last played BF: H closed beta 2 or 3 months ago, maybe game could be better now I don't know but I don't think so.

I enjoy Battlefield Heroes a lot more than Quake Live. I just enjoy leveling and buying different weapons, it gives a sense of progression that Quake Live doesn't really give me.

agreed. it should at least be an option. i always wish i could play FP when im heading into buildings and i cant see if someone's inside.

man, I am so pissed. I can't get the game to run on my laptop and I can't get it to install on my desktop.

Don't even mention Vietnam... that game made me want to explode.
Good thing it came bundled with the "Battlefield 1942 Complete Collection" because I wouldn't pay $1 for that crap...
