Hey all!

It's my birthday today, and I have an extra copy of Civilization 5 (just the base game) in my Steam account which I would like to give away. :) Just post here and optionally add, for fun, a cool fact about your country of origin! Other than that there are no rules and anyone can enter.

Disclaimer: this is my first giveaway, so bear with me please!

The giveaway will close on August 17, at 12:00 pm London time.

Good luck!!
Not in but +1, and happy birthday :)
Happy Birthday!

Count me in, thank you.

Fun fact - I'll have to think about this, will edit my post later
Happy Birthday. Civ 5 is a great game. And I already have it !
Happy birthday! Count me in.

A strange fact about my country: We have every type of land: forest, jungle, plains, desert, green mountains, rocky mountains, snow-peaked mountains, ocean, rivers, lakes, swamp, arctic forests, arctic tundra, sheet ice, permafrost, huge fresh water lakes. All it took to enjoy it was genocide and a few payments.

I'll give another interesting fact: Due to the large heart-to-brain ratio of several Americans, they released their pet snakes that they could no longer take care of. It is predicted that all of the southern states will become new native homes to Burmese Pythons. But right now, the pythons and boas are battling the gators in Florida for territory. Hopefully the gators keep them occupied for a while.

Another interesting fact: Just about everywhere is required to furnish a bathroom. I've never been to a place overseas with so many bathrooms as we have here. And, to top it off, many old buildings in the south have twice as many bathrooms as they need b/c of the remnants of segregation (they often had 1 male while, 1 male black, 1 female white, 1 female black) (note: what if you weren't black or white? I have no idea)

Last fact: Americans are expected to tip their waiter 15-20% on prepared meals whereas most countries, this is not the case. It is even customary to leave a 10% tip when eating a buffet. We have no idea why. But the trend is catching on. I've seen tip jars in just about every job I can think of. Except doctors - the one person you really want to tip.
Happy birthday :)

Thanks for the giveaway, please count me in
Nice game! Civ V is one of my favorites.
My country is featured in Civ V's recently released expansion, Brave New World.
Cool fact? Maybe hot fact would be more accurate. :P
The name "Spice Islands" specifically refers to the Maluku Islands/Moluccas, although other regions also well known for producing spices. It's located in the eastern part of Indonesia. Main spice commodities they produce are nutmeg, mace, and cloves.
Spain and Portugal had been colonizing and contesting for control of the islands during early European Age of Exploration.

I'd like to enter for Triock if you don't mind. Thanks, TapeWorm00. I look forward to grab the complete package that includes Brave New World or at least Civ V Gold.

Happy birthday, TapeWorm00!
