Hi everyone, new to the forums.
I've been able to successfully install games from gog before, but recently all of the games I've tried to install are returning the following problems:
Currently using: Windows Vista Business 32-bit edition.
-after file integrity check, the process freezes up while my computer's hard drive space slowly dwindles away.
-after changing the properties to run using Windows XP, the same problem as above occurs.
-after setting the installer to be 'run as administrator,' the file integrity check doesn't show up, and the memory leak occurs.
-after turning off the UAC, not only does the integrity check not show up, but the memory leakage stuck around for 2 days.
I've tried installing beyond good and evil, divine divinity, and arcanuum with no luck.
Anyone know what I can do? I'm wondering if it's a virus but I've run through a number of checks using different programs with everything turning up as clean.
I love this place and I'm glad gog is releasing these treasures. Much thanks to anyone that has any advice to this situation.
