Ok so here is the situation, my ISP is Iraqi yet my mailing address is APO (United States)
If I say buy whatever game via downloading that has a restriction say for US on my work based computer (US ISP) would it allow me to actually download it to my account on the Iraq ISP?
Not sure if anyone knows if it will work or not, may just have to give it a shot, however figure perhaps someone knows the answer for sure.
Thanks,
Yeah I've had no issue with Gog games, however my email to the folks at impulse has been ignored was wanting to snag a copy of Xcom however, while I am pretty sure I can buy it, the actual downloading of the game was where I was unsure about. I will be stateside next fall at some point but I had hopped to get it before then.

Any games you buy from GOG you can download anywhere.
I doubt you'd hit an issue. From what I understand most country restriction is financially based so as long as you're using a US credit card and have a US address (and especially using a US ISP for the purchasing part) you should be okay to go. I don't think they'd be bothered to tie the purchase process and the downloading process together, as long as you can log into your account you should be okay to download
if impulse aren't answering, my best advice is to find the cheapest thing you can and buy it as a test

Got a reply from Impulse, so long as my the billing portion is stateside and I also make the purchase via US ISP I should not have a problem... Thanks Ali and Weclock,
Woah, I solved a problem? Not done that in ages!
