It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

What the topic says.
I just bought Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption and Phantasmagoria. So, I'm trying to download them.
Only part way through downloading Vampire at the moment though. Keep having to stop and start it due to an error, despite good speeds. Servers perhaps having a lot of downloads or something?
Have you tried downloading via the browser? Only you're not the first to have problems with the Downloader.
I haven't because I can stop and start downloading games with the downloader, in case something happens to save re-downloading the entire file again.
Seems to be fine now though. Downloading Phantasmagoria, so Vampire's done. It's just that I had to restart the downloader two - three times, which was a bit unusual as I don't seem to have problems with it normally.
Edit: Scratch that. Just occurred again. Exact message reads: Whoops: There was an error requesting the file! All transfers stopped, sry :( (E1004)
Might try downloading via the browser as suggested.

I had this problem when downloading to the program files(x86) in vista, solved this by making the download location my desktop.
hope it helps
I use XP SP3. It's the first time I've had these problems and err... I have quite a few games on here, a lot bought during the Interplay buy one, get one free promo. But the games are downloaded now, so I won't have to do anymore downloading for a while.
Just wondered really if anyone was experiencing problems with the downloader. Thought it might have been traffic or something. Appreciate the advice though.
Every time I start the downloader, I get an error the first attempt and it has to close. On the second attempt it works fine. Not sure why that is. I haven't had the kind of problem you are talking about though.
I have that problem as well, Jungletoad. Always rights itself when I run the program a second time though, like you said.

Same problem here. At least it works the second time. ;-)
Have you tried setting Internet Explorer as your default browser? I was having issues with the EA Download Manager (which also runs on Adobe AIR) until I did this; now that IE is the default browser I have no issues at all.
