The game is pretty recent, and the box version can be found everywhere.
You buy it on Steam cause it's "sodamncool-with-socool-achievements", or... what? Or maybe it's a question of price?

Because Steam had it for FIVE DOLLARS. I got Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky both for far, far less than I could have if I bought them in a store, or even off of Ebay.
People complain about Steam, but personally, I think the possibilities for discounts and the general convenience of the service are worth the risks.
