anjohl: Michael leung, I was asked about DRM, that's why i answered.
Steam's year-end sale last year was epic, I expect nothing less from them this year. I might have to break my embargo!

PhoenixWright: What games would you buy, assuming the sale is epic enough?

Hmm, interesting question. Here are the titles I could see buying some of for the right price:
Torchlight
Tropico 3
Lucasarts adventure pack
Graw's
Fatale
Eufloria
KOTOR
Zumas revenge
Civ4
Hitman Blood Money
Morrowind
Full Spectrum Warrior (1st)
Manhunt
Mosbys Confederacy/Best of Tilted Mill
Heroes of Might and Magic 5
Dark Messiah
Medieval Total War
Guild Wars Trilogy
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Farcry 2
Trine
Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific
Tomb Raider Anniversary/Underworld/Legend
The Club
Making History
Battlefield Complete
Blood Bowl
Borderlands

michaelleung: Seriously, why must every thread with anything related to do with D2D/Steam/games with DRM degrade into DRM FUCKING SUCKS and whatnot?
Let's talk about the damned game already.

It looked like this thread wasn't going to in that direction until rude replies were posted.
Looks good, downloading demo...1.95 on Impulse makes me heppy.
EDIT:
Not bad. Not a AAA title, feels like a few games I've played before mixed together, but it's an Indie game so I love supporting them.
SOLD

*sigh* Do you really have to be such a jerk about it all, A-Pock? You treat me like I'm some idiot who doesn't know crap about what I'm talking about simply because it hasn't happened to you? I don't even use Norton, because I know it's a piece of crap, so don't go putting that on me, either.
I do have Steam on my comp, or did when I played Portal last time, I'm not sure if it's still there. When and if I can manage to free up the 6-7 GB it requires to reinstall Portal, I'll get back to you, otherwise, quite being rude to people you don't know. You have a real attitude problem, and I don't appreciate it.
Lots of things slow down my comp, hell even Skype does now and it never used to (but I'm told a lot of people are having that issue with Skype now). I do have pretty much everything in the background that I can safely turn off, off, most of the time I play high-end-ish games (recent games released in the past few years).
Whether it's really Steam doing it or, however, I can't prove until I reinstall it, which won't be anytime soon as I have a mere 2-3 GB free atm.
