Well, this was a first for me and I thought I would post it here for others like me, who have not seen all the gog announcement banners showing at one time on screen.
For those that do not know, it is the three banners in the upper right of the screen capture.
I thought it was neat anyway! :o)

No, the orange flag shows up if gog team emails you. Such as tech support.

yup :)
Though small, I've found my attention drawn to them when they show up. That little red flag as mentioned on another thread makes one rush for it.
This is the first time I've seen one telling me about a New Monosodium Glutamate, with improved flavour and a reduction in cases of headaches...
Probably still causes respitory failure though.
I've seen the new message one before, I occasionally harass GOG by telling them how to run their website and they politely tell me to piss off. Well they say words to the effect of "thanks for the suggestion, we'll keep it in mind" but it's the same thing really...

Sorry that you felt that way, however all suggestions are put forward to the team, therefore it's not lost.
It's just hard to say when a good idea will be used or if at all we'll manage to do it/use it. There are different priorities and we try to make changes/new features in batches.

I know that the GOG team have this dilema when replying, so in the end this is all we can do for now.

no no no, I was merely joking, sorry. I'm just used to sending suggestions to microsoft for xbox live and getting a polite brushoff but I do know I have this tendency to start out by making a simple suggestion and by the end of the email I've redesigned the entire system into how I'd make it. I'm never sure if I'm being annoying or helpful in those circumstances...
