Yeah, would be nice if Enter worked, for chests you need to move through them, as the appear ahead of you.
Although for all I know there may be a command key for grabbing them as well.

I never understood why people dislike Lord British that they want to kill him so much in every game?

I tried doing it in Ultima 4 even using Mondain's Skull to kill everything and he still lived then I attempted to fight him. I was completely caped in Level 8 with the strongest weapon and armor in the entire game and he did not die and I hit him 50 times and he did not falter. He took awhile to kill me though because I was ridiculously strong. Probably took more than 100 turns.
Does not help that manual that came with this game is for the original Apple version.

The link I posted above does give you an updated .exe from the guy who did the port we have here. He fixed the quest bugs. You can just replace the .exe in your Akalabeth folder and it works like a charm with DosBox. One thing he did well in the port is allow any key that worked with any other version, and in the updated port, he has a list of commands as well.

Maybe he doesn't like portoricans .

I'm having similar trouble, but rather than not giving me any quests, Lord British is refusing to _redeem_ any quests. I've killed several Carrion Crawlers at this point, but when I go back to fulfill my "Kill 1 Carrion Crawler" quest, he just says "Go now and complete thy quest!"

Do I need to be using the bonus game to do this properly? Running on Mac.
