hedwards: EDIT: When this bubble pops, it's not going to be pretty.
And it's gonna cover us all in puss...

To be honest, I don't really think most of these bundle companies are gonna be around a year or two from now. Humble and IGS will probably still be here, but I'm pretty sure the rest of them are gonna kick the bucket.

HypersomniacLive: Can you, please, confirm that it's a link for an actual direct download of the game and not just for a txt file with instructions on how to redeem the game on Steam?

IIRC, the latter was the case in a recent groupee bundle and the game was indeed a Steam exclusive.

triock: If you're talking about Pickers, the size of the download file is 188 MB, so I doubt it's just txt file. ;)
Yeah, I checked the size too and compared it with the size of the Steam version to make sure it was a game file before I posted. I'm not that stupid, guys! ;)

I'm too lazy to try installing it though.

I know you're not stupid, I was just answering the question. :p

Please accept my apologies for my own wording coming across as implying that you may have missed something out of stupidy or something.
It was an honest question - groupees doing something like this recently combined with the (bit vague to me) wording of your initial post on this left me wondering. Basically, I was asking for some reassurance that groupees didn't mess with the info.

Thanks for the reply.

It's ok, I was mostly joking anyway, which is why I added the wink.

Yeah, I saw that.

Still, it's best to make sure there are no misunderstandings or hurt feelings.
Hm, not really what I'd have expected from an "Adventure/RPG" bundle ... A shame that the only game that immediately jumps at me and that I don't own yet is Steam-only, but for $0.75 I'm not picky. :P

Any opinions on

- Reef Shot
- Vox
- The Breathe (I once tried the demo and didn't get it ... does it get more interesting / different than the first few minutes?)
- Pickers (looks like a variation of a Hidden Object game)?

Yes, Pickers is a HOG by MumboJumbo.
Don't have any personal experience but here's a review by Gamezebo.

Regarding Reef Shot, they have a few links to reviews on their site, if that helps.

I picked this up from IGS recently and while it has tons of potential, it's a long way from completion. Updates do seem to be pretty regular though, and it could be a real winner if it lives up to its promise.

Hm, probably not for me then.

I see they also have a demo, I'm going to try that, thanks!

Thanks! Could you elaborate a bit on this? What kind of game is it, what makes it stand out? I read that you can design your own characters and shape the world, destroy and rebuild anything in it etc., but that doesn't tell me a lot about gameplay. And does it have a story, or is it at least possible to create story-oriented campaigns for it or is it more like an open world sandbox game with lots of things to do and play around with but no real direction and objectives? Is it single or multiplayer or both and can be played offline, too?
2nd bonus unlocked
Looks like they're adding 2 new bonuses..

Current bonus goal is Aztaka OST - Orchestral Performances @ 3,500 bundles sold.

I haven't seen any, but I haven't been keeping up with the Groupees chat.
One game minimum is live right now
