Maybe one you more knowleadgeable members will know this as fact, I can't find out for sure myself.
Does anyone know for sure if there was a non-5.25-floppies version of the games Covert Action and Visions of Aftermath for PC?

I don't think so, most of the Microprose games of that era were only on 5.25s, took me years to get a 5.25 & 3.5 combo drive to play the copy of Red Storm Rising I got cheap.
Why does it matter what format they were released on? Seen a cheap copy of them on ebay?

Seems no one's sure, so you're awarded a solution marker for at least trying. ;) And I think you're right anyway.

Actually no, which is a shame. I can't find these anywhere. But if it was possible to find a 3.5" version of either, I'd put much more effort and risk fortunes and the lives of close relatives to get them. :)
