A single unit of time represents a continuously smaller portion of your life as you get older. So by your current perception - as you age, time gets shorter. Its kinds scary that when its gets to mid-october I would have left school (earlier than usual - early in 3rd year) roughly half my lifetime ago, give or take a few days. :)

Of course the HUD monocle would suggest a reasonable match, that would actually fit your preferences, behaviour, and manner of speech. Kind of how the matchmaking in several videogames tries to match players of similar skill (that always works wonderfully).
