Night Dive posted a hint on their Facebook page that says "5 days', what do you think it could mean.?
http://www.nightdivestudios.com/ currently is an image placeholder with the words Redesign Imminent, so maybe it has to do with that?
It probably doesn't mean anything important. Night Dive seems to love empty hype and red herrings, just like GOG.

So can you ever be sure these two particular companies are not being "funny" or serious... best to err on the side of caution and best let them be until they behave?
5 Days a Stranger?
LUCAS ARTS CONFIRMED

I had too. :P

Maybe System Shock 1?
They've been teasing robot/A.I. related stuff for a while now:

"Are you wondering why there has been so much AI and robot talk yet?"

Smannesman: 5 Days a Stranger?
These are really good games. Everybody go play!
They will be playing Rome 2 TW, so it's a notice to don't expect anything from them after those last 5 days of availability..

Please don't joke about our hopes.
it means that in five days their TV turns on and a girl with overgrown hair comes out of it
Well for one thing theyre at some gaming convention or other right now I think, for another its the return of ridiculously early (and out of season) christmas adverts, Night Dive also have school restarting in five days and they are of course revealing what it is theyve been etasing us about all this time that theyve been working on.

Oh, and the oceans will turn into soup!

Sachys: Oh, and the oceans will turn into soup!
Yay! Soup!
A bunch of AI stuff plus a bunch of copies of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream coming to their office, a game based on a short story about people who are being tortured by a malevolent AI, and who are trying to find food, having had nothing to eat for the past five days...

But Night Dive has to actually produce something if they want to get me excited. They had one major success, but there's a limit to how long they can rest on those laurels while tossing out vague hints. Also, I didn't actually like IHNMAIMS that much; I really enjoyed AM's voice acting (by Ellison himself), but found the game play and puzzles obtuse and irritating.

The spinoff, Art of Theft, is very good too.
