New year resolutions are pointless. If you know something you ought to fix and actually want to, you should start right away. Making resolutions and waiting for a new year to arrive to follow through is just lazy.

Every year I make the same resolutions, this year may be the year!!

I want to publish a book... I have 2 nearly finished novels, and at least 20 nearly finished or in the self editing phase short stories, tp gp with countless ideas for stories both in my head, in multiple word docs, in notebooks, written in blood, etc.

I also plan to get in better shape...get some nice abs to show my wife...she likes abs. I have been doing body weight training and am stronger, bigger, faster....chuchuchuchuchu, but as I get older, the abs hide a bit...

Depends on the game, really. I can notice a drop to 56 in some games, in others 35 is fine.

Finish at least five games I never got around to finishing.

I can think of a few:

-Continue ignoring Kickstarter/Indiegogo projects until they get released
-Continue ignoring Early Access until they get out of beta
-Stop buying bundles (unless they're on GOG and are the same series/franchise)
-Switch to a 120Hz monitor
-Get through the 300+ titles I have on here

I'm trying to play more games and buy fewer games. It's not a resolution though, just something I'm trying to do.
