What games have been removed from the GOG catalogue? Did you buy any while you got the chance?

I own XIII, Chronicles of Riddick, Descent and Cryostasis, not that it makes much of a difference, since I never got around to playing them.

I'll start a list with the ones I know here on the forum for posterity, and keep adding the games you guys suggest.

Games removed from the GOG catalogue:

Chronicles of Riddick, The - Assault on Dark Athena
Cryostasis
Descent
Descent 2
Descent 3 + Expansion
Duke Nukem 3D
XIII
Alan wake
Armello (good fecking riddance)
Original working good properly priced baldurs gate/ice wind dale/planescape torment
There is a complete list on the GOG Wiki.

Personally, I'm very glad that I got the chance to buy XIII and Severance: Blade of Darkness before they were removed. I wish I had bought Second Sight as well. No idea if it's any good, but it's a game I would have liked to try.

(I also bought Alan Wake, The Chronicles of Riddick, Scratches as well as Wallace & Gromit, and I have Cryostasis from GamersGate and Pony Island from the Humble Store.)

The Wallace & Gromit adventure game. Which I fortunately did buy before it vanished, as it's really great.

I don't think there's been any more removals since MaGog entered Legacy Mode (I mean, no game outside of MaGog's current Legacy scope has been removed so far).

EDIT#1: Also, isn't there already a forum thread by HunchBluntley that tracks removals and re-additions of games to GOG's catalog?

EDIT#2: here it is, and it pulls its data from the GOG Wiki. :P

Second Sight was awesome. I'm gutted I didn't join Gog before it was taken off.
I should still have my Gamecube copy somewhere in my mother's house though.

I guess I could still try to get a second hand copy for the PS2, but I don't know if it would be just as much fun to play on that console, on my old CRT TV with the PS gamepad.
Okay, do you prefer a list ordered alphabetically or by date removed?

I've only played the Gamecube version, so I have no idea what the others are like, but it does work on consoles. Free Radical were masters of making console FPSs (considering they were formed from Rare employees who worked on Goldeneye)
Severance: Blade of Darkness was previously on here, but it was removed.

Was interested in at least trying it, but nope.

As far as games that were removed that I bought:

-Alan Wake
-Chronicles of Riddick, The - Assault on Dark Athena
-Duke Nukem Series
-Guilty Gear Isuka
-Guilty Gear X2
-Pony Island

Colin McRae was removed right before I joined.

That still bugs the piss out of me. I'd loved to have had that game.

I also have Chronicles of Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena (unavailable).
And:
Constructor (which is available again).
The Fallout trilogy (available, now under Bethesda's wings).
Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition (unavailable).

I feel bad for people that want them now, especially Dark Athena since it has that godawful DRM: Tages.

It's a great game. I played it on the gamecube when it came out and I loved it.
Of the 37 games that have been more or less definitively pulled from GOG, I don't have 21 of them on GOG, but the only one I'm actually missing in any shape or form is Chessmaster 9000, and I'm more a human vs. human physical board chess player anyway.

Ten of the games I have on Steam, and for four of those, I still have DRM-free boxed copies.

The other ten I have on disc.

You could pick up the PC version on disc. Amazon has it for a couple of euros plus shipping.

The most obvious are Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, Icewind Dale and Planescape Torment. Some of GOG's biggest sellers. Very glad I bought them before they were so heartlessly forced to be removed.
