I have a gaming desktop running windows 10 and a gaming laptop running windows 11. I can run the game on the laptop but not the desktop. Comes up with an error message about unable to run missing 35dll file.
can I fix this on the desktop ?

I have directx 12 and downloaded the game directly from GOG and still won't run. why does it run on my laptop and not the desktop ?

The game doesn't use directx 12
It uses directx 9c.
That is where the missing dll's are from.
Use the link I posted on the witcher forum, to get Directx 9 from Microsoft.
