I was trying to lookup when I purchased Age of Wonders 3, and it came up as not found.

I tried

Age of Wonders 3
Age of Wonders
Age of
Age

and all of them had nothing listed.

the first choice was what it showed in my library.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
And you were checking your orders & settings page?
Considering your number of games, you might have triggered the known orders history bug that GOG is well aware of but apparently keeps being too hard to fix.
You'd think allowing people to spend more money in your store would be a higher priority.

I know, that's no solace - but you're not the only one experiencing that bug.

A search in Orders & Settings is currently failing for me, no matter what search term I use or game.

Normally it works fine for me, so something is up.

Initially I tried searching for all the bundles I have, and I have plenty. That failed even with wild cards and or case variations.

I did that search to check, because as I recall it, games included in a bundle don't often show up individually in that listing, but can be seen when you view the receipt.

P.S. Someone at GOG has been playing around with website settings for more than a month now, and a number of things no longer work properly for me, and it seems this is the latest.

I like periodically checking past purchases in order to decide on current and future purchases.

Past purchase information can be a factor in deciding future purchases.

Yeah, it's nice, being able to look up past purchases (their purchase date, purchase price, etc).

And because of that, I'm currently in the process of expanding my "GOG games" spreadsheet with the columns "purchase date" and "price".

Pfff...tedious work, to say the least - and I still have 27 pages of orders ahead of me, to go through...in hindsight, it would probably have been better, to add these infos to the spreadsheet, right from the start.

But of course: when I started my spreadsheet, nobody could predict, that this very convenient info-service would suddenly cease to exist.

Search seems to be working again now. Can confirm for Age of Wonders 3 that i found it with both "Age" and with "Wonder" and also with "Age of Wonders". Search still pretty slow and i did confirm it with enter (not sure if really necessary but autopopulating results was quite slow so i always did the enter press to be sure)

Search is only broken for some accounts. Mine was one of the first (about 18 months ago), but it seems the bug is spreading, because more and more people report it now. Some people believe the number of games in the library is the reason, but I don't think so. I know people who have more games than myself and for them the search still works fine.

Some might not have noticed yet, but when the order search is broken, the refund form is as well. You will just get a spinning circle and return to the orders section.

GOG knows about the bug and they can reproduce it. They are working on a fix, but say that it is part of a bigger problem. So no ETA yet. I hope with the growing number of accounts affected, it will get a higher priority.

Ahh cheers for the detailed info. Thought it was another newly found glitch and not the older one. Then seems like i'm still part of the lucky bunch where search still works. Wouldn't call my search experience totally glitchless either though as it takes quite some time to populate
Moral of the story:

Don't add demos to your account.

Don't change your account username.

Don't do anything to increase the DB record count so that the JOIN operation exceeds the maximum number of results.

And most important of all:

Pray that GOG may one day be able to employ a DB administrator that can upgrade/fix the mess that the last one made.
7 games owned. Results appear typing the beggining of the words. All were correct:

am or pr, the 3 Amazon games
sh, Shadows: Awakening

However, it isn't smart enough to show Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Amazon Prime with kind or any other middle syllable.

It seems the number makes a difference, I hope GOG fixes the problem soon
Still not working for me.

Yep, it pays to have something of your own implemented.
I do that with anywhere I regularly purchase online from.
And I save web pages as well, which means I don't lose the visual aspect, because once I have the date, I can then load that saved web page.

Use the * wildcard at the beginning of your query. So type *kind or *maz for example and it'll show up.
You can also use ? to match any single character, though I haven't found an instance where it's useful.
