MadalinStroe: Again, this is from what I've read and not first hand experience, but it appears to have a completely new soundtrack. Here is a blurb from the official game site:

"While the original gameplay and levels have been preserved very accurately, the new version features more state of the art HD looks based on a complete 3D based refurbishment, lighting effects and an extraordinary new soundtrack."

I might look at a few gameplay video when I have the time then. I played GODS "back then" and liked it a bit although it was slow and cumbersome but I remember liking the music A LOT. So let's see how it is nowadays with new music.

I just found out Steam is getting ready to sell a game where you play a rapists, and your goal is to...well rape.

Maybe " butSteam has it" isn't such a good reason. :P

I ended up buying Gods remastered on Steam today as i only just realised it was even a thing. I ended up finding videos of gods remastered on youtube because I was remembering the original games music and was searching for the main menu song.The gods remaster came up among the search results and thats how i became aware it existed. I would have chosen to get it on GOG over steam had it been here.

Sadly the old music isnt in the game, but the new track is obviously inspired by it. And I did genuinely love the game back in 1990/91 and im very happy that this remaster came out. If only it were on GOG though!
