Momo1991: GOG clearly doesn't support gifting here... heck, even threads that gift GOG codes aren't moderated! Come over to SG and at least you can gift freely, up your level without losing "rep" and level up to have a better chance of winning GA's.

For those of you gifting your extra, unwanted Steam keys, at least stop dropping them here without some kind of system in place to ensure they aren't going to NES-alt accounts that will just trade them.... At least stop dropping free-range codes that any bot can pick-up and redeem on alt-Steam accounts that are then resold.

Seriously people, get a clue. GOG has become a major magnet for scammers and leechers. Sad day for the Momo to say this but buy your drm-free games here but find another place to off-load your extra Steam codes.... at least get some "rep" for them over on SG. :-)

She never really did anything on the forum, so holiday is no excuse for the situation we're having for almost half a year already (Norris, the original NES400 is still alive and kicking)... And as I said: The support ticket I wrote was about two months ago ;) GOG doesn't care, no matter if anyone's on holiday or not. And the only real moderation-thing I ever saw from Ciris was a "If you do this again, we'll have to ban you!" after the "fuck fuck fuck ass ass" thread, where someone desperately tried to tell GOG that they need to do something. Kill the bearer of bad news...

Was gonna have a tiny give away on my birthday but I don't think I will with all of the scammer alts probably slobbering at the bit with the chance to steal another game. That and just to piss them off at the same time.

I prefer to go through the Steam Wishlists of people I like and respect, if I find something I can do, I ninja-gift them via GOG PM. If that makes them and/or me a crétin, so be it.

It's common to include a bizarre requirement to make this less likely. For example, you could require that the photo of the puppet include a vegetable placed in a shoe (not necessarily related to the puppet, but somewhere within the shot).
