Any possibility of ever getting Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? That was the best game and I'd love to play it again!
I recall playing Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego (which curiously in order to play the game caused me to start looking up things in an encyclopedia to figure out where the next destination would be correct). But where in time... never makes sense.

Like where in time is Mario... that also didn't make sense...

Looks like likely Broderbund owns the copyright so it depends on if they would be willing to put it here or not. And i'm not seeing anything of theirs here so there is no agreement at present at all.
You can try to convince Houghton Mifflin Harcourt -

Unfortunately, most of the good Edutainment software is in license hell.

But hey, you could play it on the Internet Archive.

Oh? How does one do that? I'm not familiar with that site. It lets you actually play the game? I have the CD disks from the original game, but I can't get Win10 to install them.

Normally, I'd not link to the archive directly, due to the grey status of it, But here's a streaming only version to keep the Blues happy.

Oh. I'm looking for the 1997 version. But thank you.

Now that may be easier said than done.
This one was very fun. I remember how you'd climb ranks as you solved cases. I always entered the lab before a case to see the flasks explode. ;)

And I did learn a lot. I wish this one and Where in the World were on GOG. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

The NES port of Where in Time... actually came with an encyclopedia. Try being interested in the game and under the age of 10 and wondering "why do I only get enjoyment from filling up cups of coffee in the ACME break room and not actually playing the game as it was intended?".

Maybe because it was too much like school homework.

Search Archive dot org for "Where in time is Carmen Sandiego" (it is one of the lower entries-it shows a picture of the game disc). On the page that pops up is a torrent link.

Also you can search that same site for "Where in the USA is carmen sandiego" (by the same company-made in 1998) and "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego")made in 1997)......both have a torrent link and an iso image link.

(I am guessing as they host it then it is legal, but don't quote me on that.)

Hah, I had the demo of the DOS version of 1985... What times, I think I played that like a 100 times
