Case in point: Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition. I didn't ask for this. *goes in search for his self-eye-gouging spoons*
So what? I for one feel I need twenty-seven copies of "A New Hope".

Fourteen "Terminator 2".

Thirty or forty "Bladerunner".

I actually collect the Limited Run games (they take around four weeks to ship to Europe, but by the time they get here, you have people charging in excess of $100 for a copy), but this is probably one of the few that I'm going to pass on. Night Trap was a classic case of marketing over quality back in the 1990s, and it's especially the case now. The only thing that made Night Trap remarkable was that it was so terrible that it almost killed the nascent CD-ROM gaming industry.
