Hi,

I thought it would be cool to start a topic about the games we played and liked in the past but forgot the name.

Around 2003-2005 i remember playing a military isometric game, looking from above, with transparent walls like in Diablo, where you could climb inside the houses and shoot enemies in the game. It relied heavily on loot.

I found my game it's called "Commandos 2", it looked better though. :-D

I found my game it's called "Commandos 2", it looked better though. :-D
Have you checked up on "Silent Storm", too?

well there was a lion king game on one of the disney interactive demo cds. it's a top down view. also there's a timon and pumbaa game. i definitely own these games, i just have to want to play them, which i do now.

i wish gog could get the full versions of disney interactive discs. they had games on them & other stuff. probably not something gog's curation would normally accept.

Janky vehicle-based (?) game from 1996-2000. Post-apocalyptic setting. I think there were multiple factions that gave missions, one of them was punk rockers. In one of the mission briefings, their leader sends you to blow up the enemy base or vehicles and calls them motherf*****. I could be completely wrong on this, but looking back I think it had that distinctive Russian indie stank to it, then again that's just me applying recent tropes to hazy old memories.

Ex Machina \ Hard Truck, maybe? it's from 2005, though.

Nah, not it. I don't think it had that perspective, the graphics looked slightly more advanced and the color pallette was more black and brown. Really though, the foul-mouthed raider punk is the one thing I'm sure about. I think he had a Constructor-like look to his character model.

Nah, that's way too recent. I lump that memory in with the likes of Normality, Monkey Island 3, Lands of Lore 3, Revenant, Incubation... so almost certainly late 90s.
