What newsletter discount would tempt you?

The Pillars of Eternity discount made me think long and hard... and in retrospect I should have taken it, but c'est la vie.

I'd probably jump on any substantial discount on Gloomhaven, The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk, or Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance. And yeah, since they sometimes repeat... I'd probably pick up Pillars! ;)

(and I'm just asking because I like to see what people like... and sometimes it's interesting as well to hear what they pass up and why.)

Probably none.

GOG desperately needs to acquire good new games vastly more than it needs additional sales with slightly different discounts that it already has, featuring the same old games over and over again forever as it's always done.

Until if & when GOG finally starts to acquire good new games on a regular basis (which they may never accomplish), then the amount of titles they put on sale, and the discount for which they are put on sale, or the selection of titles they put on sale... all of that is largely an irrelevant moot point, since in that situation, there is little more that is worth buying for customers who already have a large library which already contains most of the games that are endlessly regurgitated again and again during every "new" sale.

There are way too many possibles to mention them all, and there are certainly many great games at GOG that remain stubbornly too expensive for me ... and I already have almost 1600 games at GOG.

The first one I'd like to see with a decent discount is The Wheel Of Time ... under $10 AUD would do it for me. The same discount with those remaining new Star Trek additions that I don't have ... only grabbed three so far when discounted enough for me, based on what they are. It doesn't help that I already have some of those on disc from many years ago.

I'd like to see a Gold Edition of the first Little Nightmares game, that includes all the DLC, as in the Maw Expansion, for under $10 AUD or thereabouts ... its gotten close ... and I could have gotten it even cheaper if I had been paying proper attention when the game first released, buying the Maw Expansion very cheap ... alas I did not have the base game when it was, and of course it wasn't discounted at the time.

Still waiting for a good enough discount on Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts.

And there are oodles of others.

Ditto. I have my continued gripes with GoG. So unless it's free games i'm not touching it.

Curiously i unsubscribe from the newsletter yet still get mail from them...

I suppose the only thing i'd do is for $100 getting every game and DLC on the site (mentioned in another thread), but that's highly unlikely.
not for me but in general, "hidden gems" or games that haven't sold well

By "good" do you mean "AAA"? Because the games GOG are getting seem pretty good overall.

Any game from my wishlist with -75% or higher discount as most of them is stuck at -50-66% for years at this point.

I don't get the point of this thread. Why must be newsletter discount instead just any discount?

Anything on my wishlist costing a single-digit number of Eurobucks. :P
I would be tempted by a discount that discounts a game I want to buy now to a price I'm willing to pay for it.
80% is insta-buy if the game is "Complete".
-90% or -85% on The Outer Worlds: Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle or The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series. Highest discounts have been -55% and -50% respectively, so there's basically no chance of this in the near future.

And that's fine. I have too many games in my backlog and I bought more than I would've liked during the summer sale. I'm content to watch the sales fly by for a while.
