Maybe he died.
I hope not....
Honestly foXgog was never the most active participant when it was his turn but he always showed up again at one point. I'm too lazy to search but I believe to remember he once complained about rather unstable internet accessibility in his area.

Anyhow I've "cheated" and can tell that it's NOT Frontier. I'm just not sure whether I should give a hint at this point.
I think there should be a failsafe for when a person fails to show up for a prolonged period of time. Either someone else can provide the hints, or move the turn over to a volunteer.

If it's been over a week with no response, I'd say it's fair game to move on?

Would you mind taking over and providing additional hints for this game?

Hell, I tried to cheat and still wasn't successful.

That is probably because the screenshot provided was altered...?

Anyhow, we're looking for a "fairly recent" puzzle platformer made by a lone indi game dev. The player character is being cut out from this screenshot. I'll look for more and gradually uncover it as needed because it really would give the game away I reckon.

Yep, you're correct.

What a quick find though, what gave it away this easily? foXgog's original screenshot was taken from at least the alternate ending but rotated 180°. Google found the video matching the style but even then it took me a bit to figure it out: https://youtu.be/CWjFGBrTccc?t=160

Hello everyone!

I am sincerely sorry for not returning earlier. I got my back treated for I got immobilized temporarily by an accident.
(I am still dealing with remaining back pains, though.)

Thank you 'Duke Garland' for stepping in!
And you are right, I turned the original image 180° around. While cutting off the edges (my desktop), because I was playing in windowed mode, I found out how estranged the planet looked although it clearly depicts Earth's continents!
That is why I went with it, posting the turned around image. ;)

However, the image is not from the (alternate) ending cut scene. There are actually two other opportunities to see it during regular gameplay: one of them in the wide open space when you drop down near the lab where you get the rocket fueled upgrade for your head.

My next picture(s) would be in a couple of the 13 different color palettes, to make the search not too easy.

@maxleod:
Yes, I can confirm it, as well. It is of course from "ElecHead".
Now it is your turn!

Kind regards,
foxgog
