C'mon, you get the question, the type of game you just take a glance at and say "well, that game has to be japanese"
I read a review for Trauma Team that warned of it's quirkiness by saying the game was very japanese (it's a game about being a doctor, yet one of the physicians is a crime fighter, another is a ninja, there's even one that can listen to the dead), but I thought "I can come up with a game that is a lot more japanese than that!"
If I can nominate a game I've only seen trailers for, my entry would be Natsuiro High School. Here's a trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jcErXGBZnM
It starts off looking like a life sim, but it turns out it's kind of a stealth game about taking unsolicited pictures of your fellow underage classmate's panties. The mechanics seem fairly in depth too. I'll say this one is very japanese.
