Getting Old Gracefully...
GOG stands for Good Old Games. Period. No matter what GOG does they are not going to lose that moniker.

But even though GOG moved beyond limiting themselves to good old games they as well as their customers still care about them so in my opinion they should wear this name with pride instead of trying to get rid of it.
Same. Good Old Games, as long as they use the letters GOG.

The only reason why they wanted to "re-brand" was just to differentiate themselves from an "old games store only", to a store that competes in the marked with newer games also. They did make a fuzz about and told gamers enthusiastically "Hi, we have more to offer than just old games"...

And then some gamers answered, "Oh, REALLY?!?"
