I just saw that Mount and Blade: Warband received an update...allegedly.

When I checked the files and compared them to the ones I already have on my HDD, I couldn't find any changes.

When I looked it up on gogdb, I could see that there was a newer version available (2.061 at 3.5GB), but that got apparently reversed to (2.059 at 1.1GB) again.

So...what am I missing?

The installers had to be rolled back since the main game installer unintentionally contained the DLC.

One of The Blues explained in different thread that an updated build caused some issues which forced them to make a roll-back. They informed a developer and are investigating the problem.
Reposting from another thread:

An update for Mount & Blade: Warband was released today, however we've found some issues with the build, and had to roll it back. The developer is aware of the situation and will be looking into it. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Fun. Though, with a changelog that lists only Viking Conquest updates, may be that there is no actual update for the base game. Though, according to the changelog, that's been the case ever since 2.049.
Also, it's a game where there was a difference between Galaxy and offline version for a while, added to the table on March 9 with Galaxy version already 2.061 while offline remained at 2.059.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the clear up!

Also - no inconvenience: just slight confusion and curiosity. :)

Speaking of inconvenience, could you please inform the right personnel to check why certain games like the original Mount & Blade and the first two S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games have kept for years failing to get imported to the Galaxy client?

It doesn't seem to make any difference if I install them with the client or from the latest offline installers, as once even the client installed game is moved elsewhere, the import function fails to detect it even if I move the game back to where it was originally installed.

Sounds like a case for Support Team.
