Just curious. Their latest game just got delayed and a lot of people seem to like them very much, although that might in part be because some of their games are on Playstation and not Xbox. Enslaved gets a bit of a rep as a hidden gem in particular.

I don't really see where the love for them comes from. I feel like the gameplay in all their games is very undercooked and simplistic, with DmC being a bit of an exception since they had a template to work with, but even that one ending up much simpler and missing some of the special touches of previous entries on the franchise.
I've never heard or seen any love for them.
Team Ninja yes, but Ninja Theory no.
I really enjoyed Enslaved, because of the relation between the girl and Monkey. The evolution of this relation was quite unusual, especially for an action game (usually I am not fond of this type of games). Enslaved became a little bit more boring in its second part, but that was still fun though. Did not liked the other one I tried (DmC).
I loved Heavenly Sword. Wasn't all that deep in terms of gameplay, but it was fun to play, and the production values, story, atmosphere, mo-cap and voice acting were all top notch. In fact, the acting was far better than the CGI movie they released a couple of years ago.
