My mouse was about to die and her survival had a crucial impact on continuing a game. The pointer could not be moved already, the last clicks helped to pause the time process, red was off, and with almost shaky hands I took off the 2 aaa batteries. They were damn cold, I could feel no life in them. I focused, my common sense told me to charge them with bare hands. I placed them in one palm and covered them with the other, tighten lightly started to imagine energy flowing through me and my hands to the batteries. After about one song I brought back parts of the mouse to its places. It was alive again! (over 10 minutes!) I was so happy and the level has been completed.
Nice post & story of yours, is almost poetic :)

Let me try to participate:

After loads of repeats & when pressure gets its tipping point
cursing exhibits its magic powers to help me & let me finally advance :)
I give it the credit considering my dextery
frankly deteriorate over repetition instead of improving...

Other times, is taking a break the power that helps
but isnt as fun & quick as cursing, I must highlight :)

The bad thing:
I must refrain from cursing aloud in presence of youngsters
Its a shy power that can be invoked only when alone
Do your really believe you have magic powers? Because there is no way you recharged your batteries with your hand and wishful thinking. Were these even rechargeable batteries to begin with?

Assuming this story is realish not not complete fantasy, it could be because you took the batteries out and put them back in. I have a cordless phone I got to pull batteries out of and put them back in over and over till they get positioned just right to make the required contact. (which probably wears out the contact making things worse...)

Otherwise warming the batteries up might have allowed further energy drain.

If not rechargeable batteries, you should consider getting some rechargeable batteries (decent quality low self discharge type) and a charger, then you won't have to worry about this as much as you can always have charged batteries on hand. This will also save you money long run and be better for the environment. Or use a carded mouse or at least have a corded mouse on hand.
