Straight to the point.

Solve murders by point and clicking. Turn your enemies into space dust by pointing and firing. Destroy wicked foes by pointing at them with your wicked dance moves.

Basically just wanted to point out that there's a lot of cool stuff one can do in these awesome games.
Give them a try and you'll surely agree.

Tempted to grab Still Life 2 / Post Mortem. Still Life 1 was really good: gruesome, captivating story, but with some very tricky puzzles iirc.

Post Mortem is a great game, I can assure you. The only big difference from its successor (Still Life) is that it is experienced in 1st person perspective. I cannot comment on Still Life 2 as I haven't played it yet.
Out of curiosity, I have a question for anyone who has played Syberia 3. Is it as bad as reviews everywhere make it look like? Syberia 1 & 2 were very nice games (although a bit on the "easy" side).

Syberia 3 is the only star of the sale, with 65% discount at $12.24 historical low anywhere. But I guess people with limited budget will be happy to wait end of year/Christmas sale

Phoning Home is the only game of this sale that looks at me with big blue eyes.
All the others are already waiting in that big hall called "Library", doing whatever games are doing, when nobody watches them.

Is the GOG version up to date?
A month ago the dev announced a patch - elsewhere.

Post Mortem is nice. But Still Life 2 is an atrocity. A very bad attempt to jump on the Saw train, I guess? I was looking forward to resolve the cliffhanger and get another awesome p'n'c, but this game is just bad in every way. Gameplay, story, dub, at least I personally didn't experience too annoying bugs.
