Pygmalion_4678: It won't do much. Daedalic is a sinking ship.
Well, I'll be...

And here I was, thinking that Deaedlaic was part of the prestigious™® Bastei-Lübbe group, one of the largest publishing houses in Germany... I figured if the ship was leaking, they could simply stuff the hole with 500 Euro notes. But apparently not. Sad times indeed.

Where was I?

Oh yeah: German versions, when???

Pygmalion_4678: Furthermore, I consider that Batman Arkham Series must be released on GOG.

MarkoH01: Okay, confess - you have this line in your signature, correct? ;)
One should always learn from the brightest: Ceterum censeo

So yes, I admit. :)

Not a single game from Daedalic is neglected as the DSA adventures. No multilanguage support, no original versions, no achievements. It's a shame and I don't know why.

I still wonder exactly how they choose the sales.. Underrail and STALKER have been on sale at least 4-5 times in the last few months. But I have about 25 old rpgs on my wishlist, not one of which has been on sale for over 5 months.
Chains of Satinav, Memoria, and Anna's Quest are great games and good value. Satinav and Anna's Quest both come with nice OSTs. Unfortunately Memoria doesn't. Wonderful art styles and stories.
is the long journey home good?

Define what's good for you and people might actually be able to help you. As far as I read it might be frustrating and repetitive on the other hand some would call it instead challenging and interesting. Bought it when it was on sale the last time but did not paly it yet.

When a good discount for Silence (+50%)? It´s one of the few adventures i left of Daedalic.
I never knew Daedalic handled so many different games. I always just thought of them as "the Deponia dudes".
It's worth to mention – Shadow Tactics is made with amazing optimization. It works and looks great on my iGPU laptop, which was a big surprise, when I tried the demo. The game is definitely worth trying – interesting gameplay, atmospheric setting and visuals, carefully designed missions giving enough freedom of choice.

But not on GOG! The original game language for Chains of Satinav and Memoria is still missing, even after years.

Panaias: Oooorrr.... management told the staff to post a weekend sale earlier and gave them an extra day off to rest and gain strength to face what's coming on Monday...

Probably Halloween sale, but you know, let's create some hype :D
avatar
Mafwek: Why Monday, instead of Friday?
I guess so that the incoming Monday event does not overlap with any running sales (as far as I can see only the weekly sale ends on monday, exactly in time to start a new sale). Just wildly speculating here, mind you :)
avatar
Panaias: ...
But Weekend Sales end exactly the same time as Weekly ones. So what's the difference if one or two sales ends before a big sale starts on Monday? It must be today, Friday! It's the only explanation Weekend sale was rescheduled.

Of course, I just thought that GOG may wait till Monday so that most sales "wear off" somehow before the big one.
I'm just speculating for the fun of it :)

Same here, of course :)
Sometimes you may realise these speculations are the most exciting part, when disappointing and boring sale finally arrives ;)

You are so right...

I would much prefer a few fancy new releases to a new sale with old offers.
