Treating it as a 'tax write-off' or something along those lines. It appears not only are they having it wiped from Netflix, but they are also removing it from 'private digital purchase libraries', and stopping physical production.

I know it may sound extreme, but hear me out. In a crazy scenario that Warner Bros. decides that all games under their name are a tax write-off, they'd do the same with our libraries here (as well as all other stores). GOG may not even have the power to warn users beforehand.

So, I've decided even thought I may not enjoy my library of hundreds of games on a regular basis; I'm going to download each and every one so I don't need to monitor my library daily. Not sure if 2tb can handle it but we'll find out I guess.
I don't know that there's cause to worry about games getting pulled from GOG even after sale... there's plenty of instances of games being removed from sale, but remaining available in people's libraries. But either way, this is kiiiiinda the whole point of DRM-free. You should download your stuff. If a studio wants to memory hole it, that doesn't suddenly become your problem.
